Description
Zentia Armstrong’s Flexible Perimeter Trim range has been extended to offer installers a new flexible perimeter trim solution for onsite installations.
Installers have indicated they prefer a simple, cost effective solution where the trims are delivered flat packed, in straight lengths, and then curved on site by hand. Armstrong has now engineered that solution!
The steel section can be curved manually and adapted to the curved surface due to an original notched flange on the exposed face.
The elastic 3 ply, pre-applied PVC tape on the exposed face provides a uniform surface finish after the bending operation.
Zentia Armstrong flexible trims provide quick and easy curve solutions on site but there are some limitations regarding installation techniques:
Flexible trims are decorative elements and any grid laying on them will need additional suspension points. The BPA WDN23G wall hanger can be used to support the load above the trim.
Trims can be used only in curved TOE OUT installations (19x29 section must be installed with the 29mm face vertical).
Minimum bending radius : 200mm.
Minimum environment temperature during the curving operation : 20ºC.
Due to the nature of the PVC coating, these trims do not exactly match our standard black & white colour / gloss.
These trims are CE Marked (System 4) but country regulations must be also checked in case of non compliance of fire performance (fire reaction classification is F according to EN 13501-1).
