Description
Gold Colour Boost by Essential Sealer is a highly efficient multi-purpose indoor stone sealer. It offers excellent sealing and resistance to oil and stains for various indoor stone surfaces, including slate, limestone, granite, quartz, sandstone, travertine, and more. This sealer subtly enhances the natural colours of the stone while providing robust protection. Coverage is influenced by the surface's porosity, with up to 25m² per litre per coat when applied undiluted.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Preparation: Clear the work surface of any loose debris and ensure you have adequate personal protection, including gloves, protective eyewear, a face mask, and appropriate clothing.
- Patch Test: Perform a brief patch test application in an inconspicuous area to confirm suitability.
- Cleaning: Ensure the surface is entirely clean and dry before applying the product.
- Application: Use a low-pressure sprayer, roller, natural fibre brush, or sponge to apply an even coat of the product.
- Excess Removal: Remove any excess sealer from the surface after 20 to 30 minutes.
- Second Coat: Wait 45 to 60 minutes before applying a second coat. Keep the stone surface completely dry throughout the curing process, which can take up to 72 hours. Moisture during this time can cause uneven drying and white patches that are difficult to remove.
Please Note: Protect areas not intended to be sealed with masking tape. When using coloured grouts, perform a stain test before proceeding.
