Description
Essential Block Paving Cleaner is an alkaline-based solution designed for high-performance outdoor cleaning. Unlike acid cleaners, it will not harm or etch surfaces. It effectively removes everyday filth, dirt, and stains from block paved surfaces, including layers of grime, dirt, and moss, typically within 2 hours without scrubbing. This cleaner also contains a biocide to eliminate organic materials like weeds, moss, and leaf mulch between pavers. Depending on surface pollution, when diluted 1:1, it can cover up to 50 square meters per 5 liters.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Preparation: Remove any loose debris from the work surface and ensure you have adequate personal protection, such as gloves, protective eyewear, a face mask, and appropriate clothing.
- Dilution and Application: Use Essential Block Paving Cleaner neat for heavily contaminated areas or diluted 1:1 with clean water for less dirty areas. Conduct a small test area to establish the appropriate dilution rate and duration. Transfer the cleaning fluid to a pump sprayer or watering can, or use directly from the bucket if necessary. Apply generously.
- Dwell Time: Leave the cleaner on the surface for at least an hour, ensuring it does not dry out. Mist the pavers with more cleaning fluid or clean water as needed to keep them wet. For discolored areas, work the surface with a brush while keeping it wet.
- Wait: Allow the cleaner to work for at least two hours.
- Rinsing: After at least two hours, rinse the treated area with clean water to neutralize the cleaner, then power wash off. Avoid contact with greenery, as the cleaning fluid can harm or kill plants. If contact is unavoidable, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Extended Dwell Time: For areas with significant soiling and persistent black/white lichen spots, extend the dwell time up to 4 hours or overnight if necessary, before power washing. Test a small area to determine the required dwell time. Multiple applications (2-3) may be necessary for old, tough stains.
PLEASE NOTE: Essential Block Paving Cleaner contains a chlorine-type chemical that can discolor fabrics and sensitive materials. Take precautions to avoid contact with fabrics and tarmac during application. The fluid may cause minor whitening of some surfaces; always test the product in an inconspicuous area before use.
