Description
Essential Black Spot Remover is a potent cleanser designed specifically to eliminate stubborn black stains from natural stone and other outdoor stone and masonry surfaces. It can be applied directly to heavily contaminated areas or diluted 1:1 for less severe contamination. Unlike acid-based cleaners, its alkaline solvent won't damage the stone surface. It effectively removes layers of filth, grime, green algae, lichen, and long-standing black spot deposits.
Key Features and Benefits:
- Removes persistent black stains from natural stone and masonry surfaces
- Can be applied directly or diluted 1:1 depending on contamination level
- Alkaline solvent won't erode or damage stone surface
- Covers up to 50m² per 5L container on average
How to Apply:
- Ensure personal protection with gloves, protective eyewear, face mask, and clothing. Remove any dust and debris from the work surface.
- Prepare the Essential Black Spot Remover solution by using it neat or diluting 1:1 with fresh water. Test a small area to determine the appropriate dilution rate and dwell time. Apply generously using a pump sprayer, watering can, or directly from the bucket.
- Allow the cleaning solvent to sit on the surface for at least two hours, ensuring it remains wet. Mist with additional cleaning fluid or water as needed to prevent drying. Use a brush for stubborn stains while keeping the surface wet.
- Leave the solution to dwell.
- After approximately two to four hours, rinse the treated area with fresh water to neutralize the cleaner before power washing off.
- Take precautions to avoid splattering the cleaning solution on vegetation, as it may damage or kill it. Rinse vegetation thoroughly with fresh water if exposed.
- For areas with extensive staining, extend the dwell time up to 8 hours or overnight if necessary before power washing off. Test a small area to determine the dwell time needed for optimal results.
Note: The active ingredient in Essential Black Spot Remover is a chlorine-type agent, which may discolor fabrics and sensitive materials. Avoid contact with fabrics and tarmac during application. Test the product on-site in an inconspicuous area before full application.
