It constructed from calcium silicate board with reinforced fibres with a smooth unsanded front and lightly textured reverse face. -          Masterboard is a limited combustibility board and offers an excellent 30 minutes of fire protection.

-          It is resistant to the effects of moisture and will not degrade in damp or humid environments. Although primarily an interior board, Masterboard can therefore also be used in semi-external positions or applications with high humidity, such as swimming pools.

-          Masterboard will not rot or decay, again making it a highly resistant building material.

Supalux is the second variety of Promat board. This non-combustible board is strong but lightweight and is ideal for many fire resistance and general external building purposes. This high performance board offers excellent Class 0 fire resistance. It is manufactured from calcium silicate and reinforced fibre board, and offers highly durable and long lasting protection. Like Masterboard, Supalux is off white in colour and features a smooth front surface and textured back. Further advantages include that:

-          Supalux is a non-combustible board offering an outstanding 240 minutes of fire resistance.

-          It is easy to work with and install in a similar way to timber products, with no specialist tools being required.

-          Supalux is resistant to the effects of moisture and damp and will not rot and decay over time. The boards are highly stable and will not warp in reaction to the wet.
